Expert Witness Testimony: Industrial PFAS Remediation Costs

We provided PFAS expert witness testimony supporting a confidential client in a federal case involving costs required to investigate and remediate PFAS in soil, groundwater, surface water and sediments traced to industrial plant releases to the environment. Our team:

• Evaluated historical regulatory agency files to determine the extent of PFAS contamination
• Prepared conceptual investigation and remediation plans to address PFAS in all environmental media
• Developed detailed cost estimates for the investigative and remedial actions—including costs to investigate soil contamination resulting from facility air releases, and to investigate, monitor and mitigate PFAS in residential wells down-gradient of the facility.
